Challenge
The Republican Psychological-Pedagogical Diagnostic Centre (Tashxis markazi) needed a portal where young people and their families can learn about mental health in a calm way and ask for help when needed. The site was developed with technical support from UNICEF and had to sound warm rather than clinical.
Solution
We built a light website with a soft violet-and-teal palette, large type and rounded cards. The content is in Uzbek (Cyrillic) with a language switcher in the header. The home page leads the visitor from getting acquainted to taking action:
- First screen — a slider with a supportive message for young people and a consultation button
- Information portal — three sections for teenagers, parents and specialists, plus a “What is mental health?” block
- Online consultations — three simple steps: register, pick a time, talk to a specialist
- Tests, a section for specialists and sign-in in the main menu
- Contact form with a choice of contact method — email or phone
- FAQ in collapsible blocks and a footer with the centre’s contacts
Result
- A calm, clear portal for three audiences — teenagers, parents and specialists
- A three-step path from the first visit to booking a consultation
- A responsive version with a compact menu for phones
