Challenge
Internet of Good Things Uzbekistan is a free platform with answers to questions about health, safety and parenting. The site was already running and needed to be improved: made easier for different audiences and ready for visitors arriving from an advertising campaign.
Solution
We upgraded the site and updated its structure. The platform now works like this:
- Sections by audience — for teenagers, parents, teachers and health workers, plus COVID-19, Video and FAQ sections
- Illustrated materials — bright cards with topics: tips for peace of mind, interesting facts, choosing a career, health
- Site search and a menu of colour-coded buttons that make each section easy to tell apart
- Three languages — Russian, Uzbek and Karakalpak with a switcher in the header
- A survey — a prominent “Take the survey” button and a “Found an error?” link for feedback
- User account — sign in and create an account
- A responsive version — on phones the materials sit in one column and the menu opens at the bottom of the page
Result
- The site is clearer for different audiences
- The platform works in three languages
- Ready for traffic from the advertising campaign
