Challenge
OpenShop sells smartphones, laptops, home appliances, accessories and thousands of other products with delivery across Uzbekistan. The store needed an online storefront that could handle a large, constantly changing range, help shoppers find the right product quickly and make buying in instalments as easy as a regular purchase.
Solution
We built the store around the shopper’s journey:
- Home page — promo banners and a slider, quick links to popular categories, “Deals and discounts”, “Best sellers” and themed collections
- Catalogue — a multi-level category tree, brand filters and sorting; on a phone, filters and sorting are always within reach
- Product page — a gallery, choice of colour, storage and other variants, the monthly payment and a choice of instalment term with partner services
- Deals — discounts with countdown timers, gift badges and clearance sales
- Blog — reviews and buying guides that bring shoppers in from search
Buttons to reach an operator on Telegram or by phone are on every page, and phones get a bottom menu: home, catalogue, cart, favourites and profile. The site works in Russian and Uzbek and is set up for search engines.
Result
- An online store with a large catalogue and easy navigation
- Instalments with the monthly payment calculated right on the product page
- Deals, timers and collections that are easy to update
- A mobile version with a bottom menu and quick filters
- A bilingual interface: Russian and Uzbek
- SEO setup and a blog for organic traffic
