Website, Telegram bot or mobile app: what should a business choose
Three tools solve different problems. We look at when a website is enough, when you need a bot and when an app pays off.
A common mistake is to start with the most complicated tool. First decide what the customer has to do and how often they will come back.
Website
- Fits when customers search for you and compare offers
- It is the foundation: ads, social media and maps all lead to it
- Works well for services, catalogues, shops and reputation
Telegram bot
- Fits when customers are already on Telegram and you need to take a request, order or booking quickly
- Convenient for notifications, mailings and simple payment flows
- Launches faster and is usually simpler than an app
Mobile app
- Justified when customers use the service often and you need push notifications, camera, geolocation or offline use
- Requires publishing to app stores and ongoing maintenance
- For one-off purchases a website or a bot is usually enough
A practical order
For most companies this sequence works best: a website first, then a Telegram bot for requests and conversation, and an app once there is proven demand and regular use. The tools can be connected so that requests from the site land in the bot and the CRM.
